Allegations of Jungle Raj Heighten Political Tensions in Andhra Pradesh

In a charged political atmosphere, YSRCP leader YS Jagan Mohan Reddy accused the NDA coalition government in Andhra Pradesh of fostering 'Jungle Raj' under the leadership of Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu. The statements followed an alleged attack on the residence of party's Ambati Rambabu by ruling party cadres.

After Rambabu's contentious arrest on January 31, Reddy highlighted what he called rampant 'TDP hooliganism' and promised vigorous resistance against this undemocratic governance. He pointed out multiple incidents of victimization against YSRCP members, accusing the ruling party of misusing power and encouraging police complicity.

Conversely, Revenue Minister A Satya Prasad lashed out at Reddy's visit to the region, claiming it aimed to disrupt state harmony. The minister accused Reddy of exploiting caste dynamics for political unrest and questioned his selective condolences, further intensifying the political rift.
