An official report revealed that Maharashtra Water Supply Minister Gulabrao Patil's chartered flight was denied permission to take off from Latur on Wednesday evening.
The Shiv Sena leader, aiming to reach his hometown Jalgaon, arrived late for his scheduled afternoon departure. Consequently, he missed the flight window.
Flight approvals from Latur necessitate clearances from Bidar and two additional locations, thus leading to the denial. The minister ultimately had to travel to Jalgaon by road, local officials confirmed to PTI.
