Race for Chandrapur Mayoral Seat Intensifies: Key Players Step Forward

Candidates from Congress, Shiv Sena (UBT), and BJP have entered the fray for the Chandrapur Municipal Corporation mayoral election scheduled for February 10. A total of 10 nominations for the mayor's post and six for the deputy mayor's post have been filed, with a special meeting planned under the guidance of District Collector Vinay Gowda.

The run-up to the Chandrapur Municipal Corporation's mayoral election is gaining momentum as candidates from Congress, Shiv Sena (UBT), and BJP have filed their nominations.

A total of ten candidates submitted forms for the mayor's post, while six are in the race for the deputy mayoral position, setting up a high-stakes contest.

The election, overseen by District Collector Vinay Gowda, will take place on February 10, reflecting the political dynamics within the 66-member house dominated by Congress with 27 corporators, followed by BJP and Shiv Sena (UBT).
