In an intensifying geopolitical landscape, Iran's Deputy Foreign Minister Majid Takht-Ravanchi has starkly warned European Union member states about the consequences of joining U.S. and Israeli military actions against Iran. He iterated that any country participating in aggression against Iran would be considered a legitimate target for Iranian retaliation.
Despite the heightened tensions, some EU countries like France, Greece, and Italy have dispatched naval forces to the Middle East, balancing their actions by calling for an end to hostilities and urging for diplomatic solutions. The response underscores a preference for resolution through dialogue over conflict.
