At a dialogue with the Information Technology (IT) Fraternity at Technopark, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi criticized China's industrial supremacy, noting its unparalleled global position. He expressed concern over China's coercive and undemocratic approach, which India must avoid while building its system.
Gandhi pointed out that while countries like the US, India, and others focus on consumption, China has captured the industrial production sector. He underscored that real jobs are generated in the industrial domain rather than in consumption-driven sectors such as IT.
The Congress leader advocated for India to create an industrial system that respects democratic values, suggesting that such a development would greatly benefit both India and the global community.
