Empowering Women: Rafiq Khan Dedicates MLA Fund for Constituency Development

Congress MLA Rafiq Khan announced a Rs 1 crore allocation for development through women councillors in his constituency, Adarsh Nagar, emphasizing enhanced women's participation in development. On Sunday, Congress MLA Rafiq Khan committed Rs 1 crore from his MLA Local Area Development fund to bolster development projects through women representatives in his Adarsh Nagar constituency.

The announcement took place during a meeting on International Women's Day, featuring over 40 women, including councillors and social workers.

Khan urged female representatives to pinpoint areas in need of development and submit prioritized proposals, highlighting the initiative's focus on gender equality and women-led advancement amid past government neglect.
