Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan strongly condemned the Central government for its lack of response to the US-Israel attack on Iran, alleging this silence tarnished India's reputation. He voiced these concerns at an anti-war meeting organized by the Left Democratic Front.
Vijayan highlighted India's historical stance against imperialism, questioning why the nation remained silent when Iran, previously a supportive ally, was attacked. He criticized Prime Minister Narendra Modi's recent visit to Israel, suggesting it aligned India with imperialist nations.
The Chief Minister warned of the global economic impact of such conflicts, emphasizing that the US might be using the situation to exert control over oil resources. He accused the US of acting like a 'world police' by enforcing its will through violence in regions that challenge its interests.
