Rajendra Arlekar Sworn In As Tamil Nadu's New Governor

Rajendra Vishwanath Arlekar took the oath of office as the Governor of Tamil Nadu during a ceremony at the Lok Bhavan on Thursday.
He was warmly received by Chief Minister M K Stalin and Chief Justice of the Madras High Court Sushrut Arvind Dharmadhikari. The Warrant of Appointment was read by Chief Secretary N Muruganandam, followed by the oath administered by Justice Dharmadhikari.
Notable attendees included Tamil Nadu Assembly Speaker M Appavu, state and union ministers, and top officials. Arlekar, also the current Governor of Kerala, succeeds RN Ravi as the 27th Governor amid ongoing political dynamics with the ruling DMK government.
