Prominent figures in the latest list include party president and former Member of Parliament Badruddin Ajmal, along with three sitting MLAs namely Hafiz Bashir Ahmed, Nazrul Hoque, and Ashraful Hussain. Ajmal will vie for a position in the Binnakandi constituency.
AIUDF currently holds 15 seats in the outgoing Assembly, where the ruling BJP and its allies dominate with a combined tally. As the party is not part of an opposition alliance, it plans to independently contest in up to 30 seats.
