Uttar Pradesh's Transformation: Nine Years of Progress Under BJP

On the occasion of completing nine years of BJP governance in Uttar Pradesh, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath lauded Prime Minister Narendra Modi for the state's transformation, crediting his guidance and the hard work of party members and public representatives. Addressing a book release event, Adityanath questioned the factors that contributed to law and order issues and youth migration during the previous government's tenure.
Highlighting current peace and security, Adityanath remarked on the coinciding celebrations of Navratri and Ramadan without communal tensions. He cited contentment and safety as signs of the state's progress and announced aspirations for Uttar Pradesh to become a USD 1 trillion economy by 2029-30.
Alongside, Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya criticized the Samajwadi Party (SP) for previous anarchy, asserting the BJP-led government brought stability and investor confidence. Maurya expressed optimism for a larger victory in 2027 elections, while Deputy CM Brajesh Pathak underscored law and order achievements, contrasting them with past inadequacies.
