Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin has issued a stern rebuke to Leader of the Opposition Edappadi K Palaniswami, following his recent visit to Delhi to discuss alliances with Union Home Minister Amit Shah. Stalin suggests this trip highlights the external decision-making governing the state's politics.

In a letter to party members, Stalin questioned whether Palaniswami's actions in Delhi were aimed at securing development funds or were instead focused on unrelated agendas. He urged party workers to step up efforts in anticipation of the 2026 Assembly elections, positioning the party under the 'Dravidian Model 2.0' banner.

Focusing on the state's progressive agenda, Stalin referenced the 'Tamil Nadu 2030' vision, which aims at comprehensive development in education, employment, and infrastructure. While the AIADMK leader Palaniswami discusses alliance details in Delhi, Tamil Nadu is set to vote in a single-phase election on April 23, with results expected on May 4.
