Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann announced on Thursday that in the 2027 Assembly elections, the people will decisively eliminate the influence of Congress, BJP, and the Shiromani Akali Dal due to their history of corruption and deceit. He made these comments while unveiling new development projects worth Rs 283.99 crore in Fazilka.
Mann accused these traditional parties of consistently deceiving the public with empty promises and alleged that they had repeatedly failed Punjab. As a consequence, he insisted, voters will teach them a lesson as they have realized the parties' misleading tactics.
The chief minister highlighted that the AAP government is prioritizing areas such as education, healthcare, employment, and infrastructure, in contrast to the opposition's pursuit of power. Initiatives including over 65,000 merit-based jobs, free electricity for 90% of households, and health cards for 65 lakh families underscore the government's commitment to honest governance and development.
