United Vote: Owaisi's Call for Muslim Solidarity in Assam

Owaisi castigated the eviction drives instigated by the BJP-led Assam government as 'completely unconstitutional,' highlighting the displacement of 50,000 persons as a grievous 'injustice' and a 'violation of human rights.' His remarks underscored his vigorous support for AIUDF chief Badruddin Ajmal.

Putting a spotlight on the challenges faced by Assam's Muslims, particularly the Bengali-speaking 'Miya' community, Owaisi criticized the BJP and Congress for exploiting the minority citizenship for political gain, urging the community to push back against the discrimination embedded in policies like NRC and CAA.
