In a staunch refutation, Aaditya Thackeray, a prominent leader of Shiv Sena (UBT), has debunked recent media reports suggesting his elevation to the position of working president. Clarifying through a social media post, Thackeray emphasized that there has been no internal discussion to support these claims.
Speculations arose drawing parallels to the leadership trajectory of his father, Uddhav Thackeray, who once served as the working president of the party before eventually taking the helm. Nevertheless, Aaditya Thackeray continues to lead the Yuva Sena, the party's youth wing, dismissing these reports as mere hearsay.
Echoing his sentiments, senior Sena (UBT) members, including Sanjay Raut, expressed that decisions such as these rest solely with the party chief, currently Uddhav Thackeray. Contrasting opinions from political adversaries suggest underlying familial tensions, but the party maintains there are no changes forthcoming.
