AAP Leader Dismisses Rumours of Punjab MLAs Contacting BJP Defector

AAP leader Sanjay Singh refuted claims that party MLAs in Punjab are in contact with BJP's Raghav Chadha after his defection. AAP leader Sanjay Singh has publicly dismissed allegations that Punjab's AAP MLAs are contacting Raghav Chadha, who defected to the BJP. Labeling these reports as mere 'misinformation and rumours,' Singh accused Raghav Chadha and the BJP of orchestrating a deliberate campaign to spread falsehoods.

Amidst growing discontent, Singh stated that protests erupted across Punjab, condemning Chadha and other Rajya Sabha MPs for what he termed a 'betrayal' by switching allegiance to the BJP. According to Singh, the public is disillusioned with MPs deserting AAP and Punjab's cause.

Sanjay Singh emphasized that Chadha's justification of constitutional provisions for party mergers was misleading. He further asserted that the defectors risk losing their Rajya Sabha memberships, as no MLA would jeopardize their future associations. A formal petition has been submitted to the Rajya Sabha chairman seeking the termination of these memberships.
