With the Punjab Assembly scheduled to hold a special session on Labor Day, Bajwa’s call for a wage increase from Rs 400 to Rs 600 places pressure on the Mann government to prioritize worker welfare.

Meanwhile, a protest led by Amrinder Singh Raja Warring added to the chorus of voices demanding legislative action, highlighting the need for substantial improvements in the living standards of laborers.
