Praveen Singh Kushwaha, a prominent Congress leader from Bhagalpur, Bihar, tragically lost his life in a road accident on Friday. The incident occurred on the Lucknow-Agra Expressway as his vehicle collided with a roadside pillar near Kannauj. Authorities suggest the driver fell asleep, leading to the fatal crash.
The crash, which happened around 12:30 pm near Ranwa, also resulted in injuries to three other individuals, one critically. The impact severely damaged the vehicle, raising concerns about road safety and driver fatigue.
Senior Congress leader Rahul Gandhi expressed deep sorrow over Kushwaha's untimely death, praising his dedication and service to the party. Kushwaha was known for his commitment to the organization as Bhagalpur's district president. He is survived by family, friends, and a grieving political community.
