Landslide Margins in Assembly Elections: A Study of Leading Candidates
The Election Commission of India has reported significant vote margins in various Assembly constituencies. Notably, TVK candidate M L Vijayprabhu secured a substantial lead in the Madhavaram segment. Other major leads were observed with AIADMK and DMK candidates, indicating a dynamic electoral landscape in recent rounds.

In the recent rounds of Assembly elections, the Election Commission of India revealed noteworthy voting leads in several constituencies. The TVK candidate, M L Vijayprabhu, secured a staggering lead of over 60,000 votes in the Madhavaram segment of Thiruvallur district.
Meanwhile, V Sathyabama, another TVK contestant in Tirupur North, maintained a lead of 28,543 votes against her closest DMK rival by the 12th round. Consistency was also demonstrated by AIADMK's Edappadi K Palaniswami, the general secretary and ex-chief minister, who led by 50,379 votes in the Edappadi constituency after the 13th round.
Additionally, in the Pappireddipatti segment, an AIADMK candidate garnered a 33,492 vote lead by the 14th round. Despite most DMK candidates trailing behind, candidate Dhravidamani M gained a 22,520 vote advantage in Gudalur, while R Sakkarapani led by 22,813 votes in Oddanchatram at earlier rounds.
