Jiban Gogoi's Landslide Victory in Sissibargaon

BJP's Jiban Gogoi secured a decisive win in the newly established Sissibargaon constituency within Assam, as per the Election Commission results. Gogoi received 75,758 votes, leading by a margin of 40,593 over his nearest competitor, Raijor Dal's Dulal Chandra Boruah, who amassed 35,165 votes.

Jiban Gogoi, a candidate from the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), achieved a significant victory in the Sissibargaon constituency in Assam. This was reported by the Election Commission on Monday.

In his first bid for election, Gogoi captured 75,758 votes, triumphing with a margin of 40,593 votes over his closest competitor, Dulal Chandra Boruah of the Raijor Dal, who garnered 35,165 votes.

The Sissibargaon constituency, located in Dhemaji district, was established following the 2023 delimitation exercise.
