In an unprecedented political shift, Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin formally conceded defeat in the 2026 Assembly elections on Monday. The Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK), a newly formed party, emerged as the single largest party following the vote count, reshaping the state's long-standing political dynamics.

Stalin took to social media platform X to address the people of Tamil Nadu, expressing his acceptance of the electoral verdict with humility and congratulating the victors.
