British Prime Minister Keir Starmer is taking decisive action against antisemitism by gathering leaders across sectors in a summit aimed at tackling the issue head-on following violent attacks on Jewish people.

The recent increase in assaults has incited fear among communities and heightened the urgency for the Labour Party, with local elections approaching. The government's response includes raising the national terrorism threat level and investing £25 million to enhance the security of Jewish communities, comprising approximately 290,000 individuals.

Starmer emphasized the necessity of solidarity and action to confront this national crisis. Tuesday’s summit will involve discussion with Jewish community representatives and leaders from business, civil society, higher education, and other sectors, reflecting a comprehensive approach to combat threats and enhance community relations.
