A contractor for the Federal Aviation Administration, Dean DelleChiaie, has been arrested for allegedly threatening former President Donald Trump. The arrest came after the White House received an email concerning a plot to 'neutralize/kill' Trump, reportedly sent by DelleChiaie.

The FAA has suspended DelleChiaie from his mechanical engineering role after illegal searches were discovered on his work computer. The searches, which included phrases like 'how to get a gun into a federal facility,' were outlined in court documents.

Authorities noted that DelleChiaie, who was upset with the Trump administration over various issues, conducted searches on sensitive personal information concerning high-profile figures. Trump has been the target of three assassination attempts since 2024.
