Nishant Kumar, son of JD(U) leader Nitish Kumar, has been sworn in as a minister in Bihar, marking a significant expansion of the Samrat Choudhary-led government.
A total of 31 individuals took the oath at Gandhi Maidan, representing all members of the five-party NDA coalition. The event was overseen by Governor Lt Gen (Retd) Syed Ata Hasnain.
The ceremony saw attendance from key political figures, including Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah, following a power shift initiated by Nitish Kumar's resignation as chief minister and his election to the Rajya Sabha.
