In a stern statement on Thursday, Union Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan condemned the murder of senior BJP leader Suvendu Adhikari's personal assistant. The tragic incident involved the shooting of his aide, Chandranath Rath, by motorcycle assailants near Kolkata.
Chouhan criticized the ruling Trinamool Congress, led by Mamata Banerjee, accusing them of being 'rattled' by their electoral loss in West Bengal and resorting to violent measures. He stressed that there is no room for violence in democracy.
Chouhan asserted that, under Prime Minister Modi's leadership, the BJP is focused on creating a violence-free, developed Bengal. He assured that those responsible for this heinous act would face justice, emphasizing the BJP's mission for a secure, fear-free India.
