Indian military leaders have declared that no terrorist sanctuary across the border will be spared as India remains steadfast in dismantling terrorist infrastructures under the 'new normal' framework established post-Pahalgam attacks. Operation Sindoor, marking its first anniversary, is regarded as India's most noteworthy combat mission in five decades.
In a media briefing, military officials highlighted the operation's strategic triumphs and stressed that the opportunity to counter cross-border terrorism remains open. Lt Gen Rajiv Ghai, Director General of Military Operations during Operation Sindoor, emphasized the operation as the beginning of a new paradigm in India's fight against terror.
The operation, which successfully targeted nine terror camps in Pakistan, demonstrated India's precision capabilities and indigenous technology. The hostilities ceased swiftly after India's strategic goals were met, compelling Pakistan to negotiate. High-ranking officials remarked on the operation's efficacy in altering the enemy's risk assumptions without prolonging the conflict.
