Senior BJP leader and former Union minister Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi on Saturday said the Modi and Yogi governments are ''guarantees of inclusive empowerment'', and asserted that the BJP is essential for safeguarding India's ''honour, prosperity and security''. Addressing the concluding session of the BJP's two-day 'Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay Prashikshan Mahabhiyan' here, Naqvi said the party's commitment to ''cultural nationalism'' and ''constitutional secularism'' has established it as a ''global brand of good governance and inclusive development''. ''The Modi-Yogi governments are guarantees of inclusive empowerment, security and dignity of every section of society. The BJP is a must for safeguarding India's honour, prosperity and security,'' he said. Referring to the BJP's impressive electoral performance in West Bengal and Assam, Naqvi said the party has been ''creating records of victories'' by defeating the ''political intolerance and anarchy'' directed at Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the BJP. ''Under the leadership of Narendra Modi, the country is moving forward on the path of prosperity amid the ongoing global turmoil and internal obstructions,'' Naqvi said. Claiming that the BJP and its allies govern states accounting for nearly 78 per cent of India's population, Naqvi said the public mandate reflects the party's ''unwavering commitment to good governance'' and respect for ''Sanatan Dharma''. Attacking the opposition parties, Naqvi said the country is ''thoroughly rebuking and decimating'' parties, including the Congress, which, instead of ''demonstrating their mettle on the electoral battlefield'', are engaged in a ''continuous and cunning campaign'' against the Election Commission. ''Their feudal arrogance and mindset, manifested in questioning the democratic institutions and creating an uproar over electoral mandates, is eroding their already dwindling support base,'' he said. Naqvi also accused the opposition leaders of indulging in ''feudal lynching'' of constitutional institutions and running a ''malicious, prejudiced propaganda'' against democratic values and people's mandate. ''They must introspect why the people of the country are repeatedly shattering their feudal arrogance in the electoral arena,'' he said. The ''assiduousness and diligence'' of crores of party workers has made the BJP the world's largest political party, Naqvi said, as he credited Modi for the party's electoral successes. He added that the ''strength of the party workers'' and the ''tremendous mandate and public blessings'' received by the BJP under Modi had ''completely routed the anti-BJP unholy quartet''. ''The recent electoral mandates have pierced through the bastion of the torchbearers of treachery and promoters of phoney politics,'' Naqvi claimed. He also cautioned the BJP workers against negativity in politics and urged them to prepare meticulously for next year's Assembly elections in Uttar Pradesh, from the booth level to the 'Shakti Kendra' level.
