The AIADMK has confirmed its opposition to the upcoming confidence motion set for May 13, as disclosed by senior figure Agri S S Krishnamurthy.
Senior leaders including O S Manian stated during a press conference that the directive comes directly from the party's General Secretary. All members have been instructed to align with the party’s stance, with legal action threatened against cross-voting.
The internal crisis continues as factions within the party clash over leadership roles. Support remains strong for Edappadi K Palaniswami, with claims of unity among party members despite attempts to install Velumani as the legislature party leader.
