In a sweeping victory, the Bharatiya Janata Party clinched municipal corporation polls across several regions in Haryana, including decisive wins in Ambala, Sonipat, and Panchkula. The BJP also captured the president's post in Sampla's Municipal Committee, previously a stronghold of ex-CM Bhupinder Singh Hooda.
As celebrations erupted among BJP members, Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini praised the party's performance as a testament to public endorsement of their policies under Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He criticized the Congress for its lack of competitiveness, particularly highlighting the Sampla results where the Congress did not field a candidate.
Voter support was visibly tilted towards the BJP with substantial winning margins in multiple mayoral races. Akshita Saini defeated Congress's Kulwinder Kaur in Ambala, while Shyamlal Bansal led in Panchkula. Rajiv Jain trounced Kamal Dewan in Sonipat, reflecting overwhelming confidence in BJP leadership across the state.
