The Odisha BJP unit is gearing up to welcome its party president, Nitin Nabin, with a substantial e-bike rally in Bhubaneswar for his inaugural visit on May 18. This rally aligns with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s advocacy for fuel conservation amid global economic difficulties.
The rally will start at the Bhubaneswar airport and culminate in Jatani where a training camp for party leaders and workers will be conducted. Senior party leader Jagannath Pradhan indicated this initiative was approved during a recent meeting held at the BJP state headquarters.
The visit is politically significant, particularly as Odisha approaches its panchayat elections scheduled for early next year. BJP state president Manmohan Samal stated that Nabin's visit is oriented towards rejuvenating party members, with several meetings planned, including those with the BJP core committee and state councils in Bhubaneswar.
