The Revolutionary Socialist Party (RSP), a coalition partner in the United Democratic Front (UDF), expressed strong dissatisfaction over the delay in selecting a new Chief Minister (CM) by the Congress in Kerala. The situation has been labeled as 'political uncertainty' and 'unfortunate' by RSP's MP N K Premachandran.
Premachandran and his colleague Shibu Baby John voiced discontent at Congress leader M M Hassan’s comment that coalition partners have no role in deciding the Congress Legislature Party leader in Kerala. Despite their grievances, they acknowledged the Congress’s right to choose its leaders while highlighting their contributions to the coalition’s success.
Amidst increasing scrutiny, the Congress faces mounting pressure to conclude the selection, with potential candidates including Ramesh Chennithala, V D Satheesan, and K C Venugopal. As public and coalition impatience grows, observers fear further delays could tarnish the victory's impact.
