Law enforcement authorities commenced search operations at the residences of TMC MLA Dilip Mondal on Thursday, prompted by allegations of provocative remarks made against BJP workers in a video circulating online.
The operations, bolstered by central forces, were underway in the South 24 Parganas district, affirming commitment to lawful investigation based on filed FIRs.
Mondal's absence during the search did not impede officers from furthering their probe; two of Mondal's mobile phones have been seized for examination, confirming the ongoing nature of the investigation.
