In a determined move, the TMC dispatched fact-finding teams to three West Bengal districts following allegations of post-election violence targeting party workers, reportedly perpetrated by BJP-backed goons.
The teams, operating under orders from party supremo Mamata Banerjee, visited South 24 Parganas, Purba Medinipur, and Hooghly to gather firsthand accounts of the alleged intimidation and violence that emerged post the assembly elections, where the TMC secured only 80 out of 294 seats.
In the wake of these allegations, the Calcutta High Court has mandated that the West Bengal government maintains strict law and order, ensuring the safety of citizens, including those who fled their homes fearing retribution. TMC vows to stand by its supporters and seek justice through all available avenues.
