Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma on Saturday said that service to the nation and putting the country first are the core principles of the Bharatiya Janata Party.
Addressing a training camp organised under the Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya Training Maha Abhiyan for the Jaipur city district, Sharma said people have repeatedly expressed their trust in the BJP and the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
He said the politics of development is now prevailing over appeasement, and the vision of ''Ek Bharat, Shreshtha Bharat'' is being realised across the country.
He added that India's global stature has risen under Modi's leadership due to the ''nation first'' policy and visionary governance.
According to an official statement, Sharma said development is reaching every village in the state under the ''double-engine'' government. Welfare schemes such as tap water connections to every household, housing for the poor, financial assistance to farmers, and initiatives like Ujjwala and Ayushman Bharat are helping realise the goal of inclusive growth.
He urged party workers to take these achievements to every household and said the upliftment of the last person in the queue, in line with Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya's philosophy of 'Antyodaya', remains the party's objective.
The chief minister also called upon workers to dedicate themselves towards achieving the vision of a developed India by 2047.
