Leaders of the Communist Party of India (Marxist), headed by general secretary M A Baby, were detained by police during a protest outside the Enforcement Directorate's headquarters in Delhi. They were demonstrating against recent raids at the residence of former Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan.
The protest turned tense when police allegedly used force to disperse the protesters, leading to the detention of several senior leaders. Baby criticized the raids as politically motivated, asserting that Vijayan was being unfairly targeted.
