Hemant Soren, Chief Minister of Jharkhand, has slammed the BJP for emphasizing issues used as political tools while overlooking pressing economic challenges like the surge in fuel prices. Soren's comments came in response to the BJP's demand for setting up detention centers for illegal Bangladeshi immigrants in Jharkhand.
During a press interaction, Soren criticized the disproportionate focus on political maneuvers instead of addressing the crumbling economy and rising fuel costs. Meanwhile, BJP spokesperson Pratul Shahdeo reiterated the urgency for detention centers, claiming that Bangladeshi infiltrators see Jharkhand as a safe haven following actions by the West Bengal government.
Soren insisted that his administration's initiatives are designed to serve the broader public, contrasting with what he described as the BJP's agenda, which he claims prioritizes a select few.
