TDP Pledges Women's Quota Implementation in Andhra Pradesh

The Telugu Desam Party (TDP) announced its commitment to implementing a 33% reservation for women in Andhra Pradesh's legislative bodies, independent of national policy alignment. This declaration was made by Chandrababu Naidu during the Mahanadu conclave, underlining the party's determination to prioritize women's representation.

Naidu emphasized that despite the stalled national consensus on the women's reservation bill, the TDP would champion this cause within Andhra Pradesh. He expressed support for women's rights initiatives and highlighted the state's progress in attracting investments and infrastructure development under his leadership.

He affirmed that Andhra Pradesh had become a prime destination for foreign investments, attributing this success to collaborations with the national NDA government. Furthermore, Naidu spoke about educational and economic programs aimed at preparing youth for future industries and reiterated the government's focus on regional development and agriculture transformation.

While addressing the conference, Naidu urged party members to maintain integrity and public engagement, support NDA allies, and rally against opposition parties, setting the stage for forthcoming local and national elections.
