Speaking out against attempts to glorify Nathuram Godse, the man who assassinated Mahatma Gandhi, Siddaramaiah called for collective action to confront this narrative.
He urged Shivakumar to continue the developmental legacy and prioritize the unity of the Congress party despite recent national challenges. Siddaramaiah praised Shivakumar's organizational skills, entrusting him with the challenge of guiding Karnataka towards a prosperous future, while emphasizing the need for Congress to hold onto its ideological roots amid political adversities.
