Shiv Sena (UBT) Functionary Earns PhD for Research on Party's Humanitarian Contributions

Sarita Vijay Wakode, a Shiv Sena (UBT) member from Akola, Maharashtra, has been awarded a PhD for her research on the humanitarian efforts of the undivided Shiv Sena from 1966 to 2016. Her thesis, comprising 450 pages, focused on the party's social, cultural, and women-centric initiatives.

Sarita Vijay Wakode, representing the Shiv Sena (UBT) in Akola district, Maharashtra, has been recognized with a PhD for her extensive research on the humanitarian actions of the undivided Shiv Sena during its first fifty years. Her work highlights the party's impact and contributions from 1966 to 2016.

Wakode's 450-page thesis, submitted to Sant Gadge Baba Amravati University, emphasizes the Shiv Sena's focus on social service, culture, and women's initiatives. Her research sheds light on the party's role in the Samyukta Maharashtra Movement and its efforts to uphold Marathi identity, aiming to educate future political workers on core ideological values.

Joining Shiv Sena in 2016, Wakode pursued doctoral studies shortly after completing her master's degrees in history and Marathi. Her research, approved in 2020, reflects her dedication to exploring the humane aspects of politics, aiming to inspire through the principles of love, sacrifice, and hard work.
