Girish Chodankar, Congress' Tamil Nadu in-charge, expressed gratitude to Tamil Nadu Chief Minister and TVK Chief Joseph Vijay for allocating the Rajya Sabha seat to Congress. Amidst these developments, Chakravarty voiced concerns over the reduced funding allocation to Tamil Nadu under the VB-GRAM-G Bill.
