Diplomacy Urged Amid Escalating Gulf Tensions
EU foreign policy chief Kaja Kallas discussed recent Gulf tensions with Iran's Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi, emphasizing the need for diplomacy. Kallas, also in talks with Kuwait's Foreign Minister, warned against war renewal and advocated diplomatic solutions to protect critical regional infrastructure and prevent escalation.
European Union's foreign policy chief, Kaja Kallas, addressed rising tensions in the Gulf during a conversation with Iran's Foreign Minister, Abbas Araqchi. She emphasized the urgent need for diplomatic resolutions.
Kallas also engaged with Kuwaiti Foreign Minister Sheikh Jarrah Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, underscoring that the recent attacks on Gulf infrastructure are intolerable.
She warned that a return to full-scale war would heavily impact the region, affirming diplomacy as the only viable solution to the conflict.
