Arson at the Heart of Politics: The Mysterious Case of 'EL Money'
A Ukrainian man, Roman Lavrynovych, was found guilty of arson attacks related to British Prime Minister Keir Starmer last May, supposedly directed by a mysterious individual known as 'EL Money'. The attacks involved properties linked to Starmer and were not believed to be orchestrated by Russia.
A Ukrainian national was convicted in a London court for arson attacks targeted at properties associated with British Prime Minister Keir Starmer. Roman Lavrynovych, 22, received the guilty verdict at the Old Bailey Court.
The incidents occurred in May last year and involved high-profile properties, including Starmer's former residence and a vehicle owned by him. Lavrynovych, along with Romanian co-conspirator Stanislav Carpiuc, was accused of acting at the behest of a shadowy figure known only as 'EL Money.'
While the prosecution presented evidence of a transaction initiated through a Telegram account, the identity of 'EL Money' remains undisclosed. Authorities have ruled out Russian involvement in these acts of arson.
