In a resolute dismissal of swirling rumors, Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Aaditya Thackeray asserted that the party's MPs elected in the upcoming 2024 Lok Sabha elections remain steadfast in their allegiance to the Uddhav Thackeray-led faction. During a press conference, Thackeray downplayed speculations about 'Operation Tiger,' which suggested some UBT Sena MPs might defect to Shinde Sena and join the National Democratic Alliance (NDA).

Drawing attention to political fluidity, Thackeray pointed at the strife within the Trinamool Congress (TMC), where reports indicate a significant number of MPs contemplating defection. Labeling such moves as betrayal, he stressed, "These leaders were elected on Mamata Didi's name, yet they falter as situations change. Laws exist to curb such party-breaking activities."

Casting an analytical lens on government policies, particularly in agriculture, Thackeray advocated for 'Karj Mukti' (debt relief) over typical loan waivers, critiquing the current administration's relief measures as insincere. He criticized the government's implementation of welfare schemes, like the Ladki Bahin Yojana, and demanded waivers without conditions. He further condemned the rising inflation and unemployment during PM Modi's tenure, lamenting India's muted global voice.
