Stabilization in the Middle East will be beneficial for energy markets, Russian President Vladimir Putin told a summit with leaders from the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) in the Russian city of Kazan.
Putin was reacting to the signing of a memorandum of understanding between the United States and Iran aimed at ending their war.
Russia and ASEAN welcome the ceasefire agreement and believe it will be the basis for future agreements, Putin added.
