Brazilian Senator Jaques Wagner denies receiving undue benefits from collapsed lender Banco Master, claiming President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva's support amidst a police raid targeting him.

Senator Jaques Wagner, the head of Brazil's government coalition in the Senate, said on Thursday he and his family have not received money or undue advantages from collapsed lender Banco Master, following a police raid earlier in the day targeting him.
In an interview with Brazilian TV network BandNews, Wagner said President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva called him to express his solidarity. The senator said he believes Lula will keep him as head of the coalition.
