Iran Calls for Urgent Transfer of Detained Pilots from Qatar

An Iranian military official urged Qatar to transfer detained Iranian pilots to a hospital on land, citing poor physical conditions. The official requested support from the International Committee of the Red Cross for an air ambulance to expedite the return of sick detainees to Iran.

An Iranian military official has made a public appeal for the transfer of detained Iranian pilots from Qatar, who are presently being held on water in substandard conditions, according to the Tasnim news agency.

Mohammad Baqerzadeh, the commander of the Committee for the Search for Missing Persons of Iran's Armed Forces General Staff, emphasized the urgency of relocating the pilots to a land-based hospital.

He requested the involvement of the International Committee of the Red Cross to facilitate their transfer via air ambulance, highlighting the need for immediate medical attention for the injured and sick detainees.
