TDP ropes in former YSR Congress leader ahead of polls

Former YSR Congress lawmaker Gouru Charita Reddy along with her husband joined the Telugu Desam Party on Saturday. Charita Reddy, who has been a public representative from Panyam assembly constituency in Kurnool district, joined TDP along with her husband Gouru Venkat Reddy.
The duo was inducted into the party in the presence of party chief and Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu. Charita brought an end to her association with the YSRCP and tendered her resignation on March 1.
