Ashok Tanwar to file nomination from Sirsa tomorrow, massive crowds expected

Chief of Haryana Congress Unit and former Member of Parliament from Sirsa and Secretary, All India Congress Committee, Ashok Tanwar is set to file nominations for 2019 Lok Sabha polls from Sirsa. Supporters of the popular leader have called for mass-scale participation at Nehru Park, the venue of filing the nomination papers.

Ashok Tanwar, a dynamic and young leader, is believed to be a close confidant of Congress President Rahul Gandhi. India's oldest party has declared candidates for six Lok Sabha seats in Haryana, in which Kumari Selja from Ambala, Deepender Hooda from Rohtak, Ashok Tanwar from Sirsa, Shruti Choudhary from Bhiwani-Mahendergarh seat, Lalit Nagar from Faridabad will be contesting elections.

Recently, the 43-year old Congress leader came to address a conference called by another Congress leader Devender Babli in the Shriram Bhavan campus. He called the workers to reach Sirsa in hefty numbers on April 20, the day, he will fill his nomination papers.

He has taken to social networking platforms like Twitter and Facebook to announce the date, time and venue for filling his nomination papers.
