Bihar: Sushil Kumar Modi inaugurated the fortnight-long annual 'Pitripaksh Mahasangam' fair

Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Sushil Kumar Modi on Sunday inaugurated the fortnight-long annual 'Pitripaksh Mahasangam' (Pitripaksh fair) here. People offer 'pinda daan' for the salvation of ancestors' souls during the fair.

An estimated eight lakh people are likely to be a part of the fair, which would continue till October 8. Sushil Modi, who is also the state finance minister, inaugurated the fair at Vishnudwar amid recitation of mantras.
