Rains lashes Rajasthan in last 24 hours: officials

Light to heavy rainfall lashed various places of Rajasthan in 24 hours, Met officials said today.

Rupbas recorded 11 cm rainfall followed by 9 cm each in Nainwa and Uniara, 8 cm each in Tonk tehsil and Karauli. Various places recorded 1 to 7 cm rainfall during the last 24 hours.

Today, Kota recorded 27.3 mm rainfall followed by 4.8 cm in Sriganganagar and 3.7 mm in Dabok, they said.

The Met department has forecast heavy rainfall at isolated places in east Rajasthan in next 24 hours.
