Saudi official denies the kingdom used spyware to track communications -state TV

A Saudi official denied on Wednesday claims in media outlets that the kingdom used spyware to track communications, the state TV reported. The official added that these claims are baseless and stressed the kingdom does not approve such practices.

A global investigation published on Sunday by 17 media organisations said Pegasus had been used in attempted and successful hacks of smartphones belonging to journalists, government officials and human rights activists.
